Wellbeing is the heart of CLC, where inclusivity and voice is celebrated. Students are empowered to find their inner confidence and rise to challenges.
Our bespoke program is expertly designed by our CLC Wellbeing Team to meet the needs of our Year 9 students by combining the results from comprehensive student and parent surveys with the latest research in adolescent development.

We guide our Year 9 students to become independent by taking more ownership over their learning experiences. By participating in flexible and challenging projects, our students enhance their problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. Students are introduced to a wide range of subjects and new and varied experiences.
Because we believe in education for the whole person, CLC offers extensive opportunities across performing arts, sport, social justice, cultural exchanges and the chance to pursue new passions to an elite level.
Students across all year levels experiencing challenges with their learning programs (including literacy, numeracy and spelling) can access personalised and small group support.
We also provide targeted assistance to students with disabilities, students with Refugee Status, students for whom English is an Additional Language (EAL and Indigenous students.
The Learning Enhancement Team includes Special Education teachers, Learning Enhancement Officers, a Social Worker and Psychologists, who provide specialist support. Learning Enhancement Team members participate in regular meetings with parents to discuss learning programs.
