What are the application and testing dates?
Scholarship applications close at 5pm on Friday, 17 August 2018. Applications will not be accepted after the closing date.
The Scholarship Examination date is Saturday 25 August 2018 at 8.30am at the College.
Interstate candidates should contact the Registrar at the College firstname.lastname@example.org to make alternative arrangements.
Who can apply?
Scholarships are available to students entering Year 9 in 2019. Applications are invited from students currently attending CLC as well as those attending other schools.
Applicants should have a school record that demonstrates a high level of achievement and endeavour.
How do I apply?

What does it cost?
The cost of the test is $90.00 (inc GST).
The scholarship application fee is non-refundable.
How are the scholarships awarded?
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the result of an external Academic Assessment Test and a subsequent interview with a short list of candidates (based on assessment results).
The scholarship test includes assessments based on:
- Abstract reasoning
- Mathematics achievement and reasoning
- Reading comprehension
- Written expression
When will applicants be notified of results?
Following the academic test, a small number of students will be invited to an interview. Written offers of scholarship assistance will be posted as soon as possible after the interview has taken place.
Applicants not selected will be notified.
How many scholarships are given and how much are they worth?
CLC will award a number of scholarships at 50% or 100% of the composite tuition fee. The student retains her scholarship throughout her time at CLC, subject to an annual review that demonstrates satisfactory performance, behaviour and commitment to College life.
The decision of the College Principal to award a scholarship or otherwise is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
It is a condition of the award of this scholarship that the recipient remains at Catholic Ladies’ College until the end of Year 12. Candidates must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency in Australia.
