Class Of 2016 outstanding results

CLC top 12 in Victoria in the VCE Catholic schools ranking.

 

The aggregate ATAR scores for the cohort are as follows:

 

10% received an ATAR over 95
20% received an ATAR over 90
44% received an ATAR over 80
58% received an ATAR over 70
79% received an ATAR over 60

 

Our 2016 College Dux, Julia Broadbent achieved an ATAR of 99.35, placing her in the top 1% in the state. She is currently overseas volunteering as a medical aid worker in the Dominican Republic.

 

Year 11 student, Jacqueline Eyres, gained a perfect score in Units 3 & 4 Psychology.

 

Year 12 student, Amelia Best was accepted into Top Designs for the children’s book she produced in VCE Media Studies.

 

We also acknowledge the significant achievements of our younger students:

 

Gabrielle Hurrel, Year 10, was accepted into the Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars program for high achievers for 2017 and 2018 at the University of Melbourne and has also been awarded one of four Father James Wall Bursary Leadership Achievement Scholarships provided by the Catholic Development Fund.

 

Lily Hopping, Year 10, gained a place to visit NASA, United States for the HASSE space school camp over the summer holidays.
